About the Role

EZO is looking for an IT Content Creator to help build visibility and credibility with IT leaders as we expand into the ITSM market.

This role is not a traditional content writing, SEO, or social media management position. We are looking for someone with real IT operating experience who can become a trusted, recognizable voice for EZO in the places IT leaders already spend time — LinkedIn, podcasts, YouTube, Reddit, Slack/Discord communities, webinars, and industry events.

The right person will understand how IT leaders think, what problems they care about, and how to create content that feels practical, credible, and useful rather than generic.

Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to improve EZO’s visibility with IT leaders by creating consistent, credible, and high-quality content across the channels where IT decision-makers read, watch, listen, and engage.

Success in this role will be measured through improved branded search, stronger community presence, and increased inbound signals from mid-market IT decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Research, outline, script, record, and publish content across LinkedIn, video, audio, and community channels.
  2. Build a credible public voice for EZO within the IT leadership community.
  3. Create content that speaks directly to IT Directors, IT Managers, MSP leaders, and ITSM/ITAM decision-makers.
  4. Book and host guests from the IT leader and MSP community for podcasts, webinars, interviews, and video content.
  5. Actively engage in comments, DMs, Reddit discussions, Slack/Discord groups, and other communities where IT leaders participate.
  6. Partner with the AI Content Engineer to turn original ideas, conversations, and recordings into scalable, searchable content assets.
  7. Represent EZO at relevant IT conferences, meetups, and industry events.
  8. Identify current topics, pain points, trends, and debates within the ITSM, ITAM, MSP, and IT operations space.
  9. Report content performance and community signals to the CMO against agreed success metrics.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are open to candidates from either of the following backgrounds:

IT Operator with a Public Voice

You have spent at least 5 years in an IT Director, IT Manager, senior IT, or IT operations role. You already publish content through LinkedIn posts, newsletters, guest articles, podcasts, YouTube, webinars, or active community participation. You have a public footprint that can be reviewed and verified.

MSP Operator or Principal with a Creator Footprint

You have run, led, or been a principal at a Managed Service Provider for at least 5 years. You understand IT buyers because you have sold to them, supported them, and solved their problems. You already have a meaningful content footprint through podcasts, webinars, YouTube, LinkedIn, or industry communities.

Required Experience and Skills

  1. 5+ years of operating experience in IT, MSP, ITSM, ITAM, or adjacent technology roles.
  2. A visible and verifiable public body of work such as LinkedIn posts, podcast episodes, videos, articles, newsletters, webinars, or conference talks.
  3. Strong written communication skills with a clear, practical, and credible voice.
  4. Comfortable appearing on camera and speaking publicly.
  5. Strong understanding of IT leaders, IT operations, MSPs, ITSM, ITAM, or related buyer pain points.
  6. Ability to create content that resonates with IT decision-makers and does not sound generic.
  7. Strong judgment on what makes content valuable, credible, and relevant for IT audiences.
  8. Adoptive-level AI fluency, with daily use of LLMs for research, drafting, ideation, and content acceleration.
  9. Ability to distinguish strong AI-assisted output from low-quality or generic content.
  10. Willingness to travel for conferences, industry events, and meetups approximately 15–20% of the time.
